Based in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, she is a Master Electrician and certified heavy equipment operator who has worked tirelessly to create safe, inclusive, and high-quality workplaces. Her achievements have been celebrated with more than 25 awards, including a cherished recognition from Junior Achievement for her volunteer work. Tania-Joy is passionate about giving back to her community, especially by mentoring young people and advocating for more women to join the trades. She often shares her experiences with students, inspiring them to pursue careers that are both meaningful and secure.
